A luxury backyard wedding in Lake Forest
One of my favorite movies growing up was Father of the Bride; I loved the idea of a large scale wedding in my childhood home. That's exactly what Carter and Marc pulled off with the help of New York based designer Kimberly Merlin. It could not have been more perfect; flowers draped from the ceiling of a clear topped tent. It felt like a midsummer night's dream inside the dinner tent. After dinner, guests were ushered to another tent that was moroccan themed. Towards the end of the evening food trucks arrived from Chicago with the late night snacks. The authenticity of this wedding was probably my most favorite part. Carter is by far, the funniest bride I have ever photographed, and I had a blast working with her and Marc. Here's just a few of my favorite photos from that evening.
